In Honor of Deputy Greg McCowan

We are honored to launch our giveback initiative by supporting the Deputy G. McCowan A Step Further Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in March 2024 to honor the life and sacrifice of Deputy Greg McCowan. Deputy McCowan was tragically killed in the line of duty in February 2024 while faithfully serving his Blount County community.

This foundation was created to continue his legacy of dedication, courage, and community service. Its mission is to offer financial assistance, emotional support, and vital resources to the families of fallen officers, and to fund programs that support law enforcement and the communities they serve. The foundation carries Deputy McCowan’s legacy “a step further,” ensuring that his commitment to service lives on through continued acts of compassion and care.
