About Us

The idea behind American Cottage Co. comes from my childhood and where I ended up today. I grew up in the Midwest, in a small town called Wonder Lake, where my days were filled with boating and water skiing on a local team with my family. Those are some of my most cherished memories!

Eventually, I moved to East Tennessee with my husband and fell in love with the mountains and all the south has to offer. This brand reflects the two places I hold dear to my heart, and my hope is that when you shop our collections, you feel like you’re getting a little piece of both - whether it's the peacefulness of the lake or the warmth of the south.
